"Mih Megan, this cannot work!!" is the complaint I heard constantly this week from anxious 5-year-olds who were unhappily subjected to three spelling tests a class period for four days straight, and desperately trying to get their pencils and pencil sharpeners in order.
Oh kids. If you only knew what is happening to me. Now after four days of trying to keep 5-year-olds from exploding from spelling stress, my brain cannot work. Yes, that's right kids, THIS CANNOT WORK!
It's not their fault. They are just being kids. Are they kidding, trying to pull stunts like that on tender babies? Ai-yuh!
Goodnight, says my brain. And yet, five more hours of teaching to go.......
